We believe every person has a journey of faith. Our vision as a church is what we believe will help every individual move forward in their journey.
We have simplified it down into three categories:
Hands Lifted, Hands Joined and Hands Opened
Every journey has a beginning. We believe that our spiritual journey begins with experiencing God’s pursuing love. Our journey could be described as a divine romance—our love relationship with our Heavenly Father. Hands Lifted can be described as our worship gatherings. We have multiple opportunities through the week to come and be a part of the worship and word. This is a vital part of a person’s journey to come and join together with other believers as we celebrate the Lord.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
The spiritual journey is meant to be a shared one. We believe that it is crucial that followers of Jesus find others to share each other’s load. Hands Joined can be described as our Small groups and Sunday School classes. We have multiple options for you to come and join in community with a smaller group of people. Learning to live life together is a vital part of a believers journey.
By yourself you’re unprotected. With a friend you can face the worst. Can you round up a third? A three-stranded rope isn’t easily snapped.
— Ecclesiastes 4:12
The divine romance must be expressed in tangible ways. Jesus tells us that as we do for the least of these we are doing for Him. So we love God by loving others. God so loved the world that He gave. We likewise show our love by giving. Hands Opened can be described as our multitude of serving opportunities. This can be from serving at a local shelter to offering up your time to serve our church. We believe every believer should be serving in some capacity in order to move forward on the journey of faith.
Love your neighbor as yourself.
