What a week it has been! Filled with so many changes and different things thrown our way. Change can be a hard thing to process. I can remember when I was younger when we moved from where we were living in Indiana at the time to a farm in Kentucky. I thought I was never going to have any friends, that I was never going to have anything to do, and that my life was over. Those are some pretty big assumptions for someone in 4th grade to have. Yet I had no idea that I was headed to a new home and place that I would learn to love! A new destination filled with new adventures and times. I still look back and think fondly of the house we lived in, yet I am so glad we made the decision to move to our farm in Kentucky.
As a church, change can be difficult. Yet I believe that God has something great for us in the coming future if we can simply step out and allow Him to take us there! I am reminded of the verse in Matthew 6:34
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
What a practical reminder of how we should live! I am praying for each of you this week that God will give you an opportunity to be His hands and feet and that you will look forward to the new adventures God has in store for us at Gracepointe!
